Windy Hill on the Campus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit senior center located in Spring Grove, York County, Pennsylvania. We are a drop-in community center for active, independent older adults, aged 60+, within the Spring Grove, Hanover and York County areas.

Scavenger Hunt with Future Leaders of York
Wednesday, April 3rd at 8:30 am
Local area high school students who participate in Leadership York's Future Leaders of York program will be participating in a scavenger hunt with our members starting at 9 am in the cafeteria. Come out to socialize with the future leaders and learn more about them. We encourage members to come out for this intergenerational opportunity.

Emergency Preparedness MindMatters Presentation
Thursday, April 4th at 10 am
Join Windy Hill staff for a MindMatters video presentation by PA Emergency Management Agency (PEMA). The presentation will help those who watch be better prepared in the case of a disaster.

Country Meadows Tour
Monday, April 8th at 10 am
Country Meadows will transport those who are interested in touring the facility to Country Meadows from Windy Hill. Those who participate will get to ask questions, get a tour of the facility, and take home some dessert. Sign up in the office today. Spaces are limited.

Third Tuesday of every month at 10 am
This group will be led by Visiting Nurses Association of Hanover & Spring Grove Social Worker, Jamie Keller. This is open to all members who have experienced or are currently experiencing grief and/or loss of a loved one.

Reading Wednesdays
We partner with Spring Grove Regional Parks & Recreation Center to offer an opportunity for our members to read to the preschool children in their program.
Volunteers are needed to read on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 am - 10:25 am. Sign up to volunteer in the office.
PA MEDI appointments
We will once again be offering in-person appointments with PA MEDI counselors to help with making informed choices with regard to Medicare and Medicare Supplements. This is a free service. To schedule your appointment, call Windy Hill.
Appointments are available the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Monday each month from 9 am - 11 am.

Inclement Weather Policy
Due to current circumstances, Windy Hill will no longer be following Spring Grove Area School District’s inclement weather schedule. In the event of inclement weather Windy Hill will make a decision by 5:30 am, the morning of, whether or not we will be operating. If the decision is made to cancel operation for the day, a message will be located on our phone greeting and also on our Facebook page. In the case of closure, that day’s meal will no longer be available. We do have frozen meals available that can be used as emergency meals in the case of closure. If you’re interested, please request these meals.

COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By visiting Windy Hill Senior Center, you agree to abide by the procedures established by the center to protect members and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either inside the center, in the Congregate Drive-thru line, or during any outside events on Windy Hill's Campus. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation, and you waive any liability against Windy Hill Senior Center and any other parties.
