Struggling with your smartphone? The Spring Grove Area High School Tech Buddies will be at Windy Hill to help! Students will be providing personal, one-on-one guidance in a relaxed and hands-on environment that is tailored to your needs. Class discussions can include: How to Download Apps, Internet Searching, Communication skills like Video Calling, Email, and Social Media and Camera Controls!

Bus departs at 9:00am for the Windy Hill bus trip to the Kitchen Kettle Village that includes the Spring Fling Shopping Package! Kitchen Kettle Village is a scenic, walkable village of shops with homemade/local made and name brand items!

Reading Wednesdays
We partner with Spring Grove Regional Parks & Recreation Center to offer an opportunity for our members to read to the preschool children in their program. 

Volunteers are needed to read on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 am - 10:25 am. Sign up to volunteer in the office.

PA MEDI appointments
We will once again be offering in-person appointments with PA MEDI counselors to help with making informed choices with regard to Medicare and Medicare Supplements. This is a free service. To schedule your appointment, call Windy Hill.

Appointments are available the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Monday each month from 9 am - 11 am.

Inclement Weather Policy

Due to current circumstances, Windy Hill will no longer be following Spring Grove Area School District’s inclement weather schedule. In the event of inclement weather Windy Hill will make a decision by 5:30 am, the morning of, whether or not we will be operating. If the decision is made to cancel operation for the day, a message will be located on our phone greeting and also on our Facebook page. In the case of closure, that day’s meal will no longer be available. We do have frozen meals available that can be used as emergency meals in the case of closure. If you’re interested, please request these meals.

COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By visiting Windy Hill Senior Center, you agree to abide by the procedures established by the center to protect members and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either inside the center, in the Congregate Drive-thru line, or during any outside events on Windy Hill's Campus. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation, and you waive any liability against Windy Hill Senior Center and any other parties.
